The Role

As an Automotive Yardhand / Forklift Driver, you’ll be right at the heart of our site activities. From vehicle book-ins and inspections to detailing, yard work, photo booth operation, forklift work, and auction prep - you’ll help keep everything moving safely, smoothly, and on time.

If you love jumping between tasks, working with vehicles, and staying active throughout the day, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Be Doing

A typical day could see you:

• Booking in and barcoding vehicles, collecting keys, and using handheld tech
• Conducting vehicle inspections and quality checks to customer standards
• Operating forklifts and supporting yard movement
• Detailing, washing, or prepping vehicles for auction
• Road testing vehicles and recording results
• Photographing vehicles in the photo booth and uploading images
• Helping coordinate drivers and supporting auction preparation
• Keeping work areas clean, safe, and compliant with WHS standards

This is a hands-on, fast-moving role with plenty of variety - no desk, no boredom.

What You’ll Bring

• A current driver’s licence
• Forklift licence (with F endorsement preferred)
• Background in automotive - or genuine enthusiasm for cars if you’re just starting out.
• Strong communication and sound decision-making
• Great customer service and a commitment to safety
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
